Elvis Costello has released “Suffering Face,” a solo demo included in the upcoming King of America & Other Realms box set, out November 1 via UMe. Produced by T Bone Burnett and recorded at Sunset Sound, (Hollywood, CA) 14th February 1985, the song was initially considered for the final King of America album before evolving into “Crimes Of Paris” on Blood & Chocolate.
The 97 song, six-disc set, which traces Costello’s musical odyssey across America and his work with longtime collaborator Burnett, features a 2024 remaster, unreleased demos, live recordings, and more.
